About me

I'm a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent Unversity (Belgium). My research focuses on more accurate and faster decision-making in randomized clinical trials by making optimal use of the available data.

My research

My research focuses on developing innovative designs and analytical techniques for drawing causal inferences in health sciences. I mainly focus on the following topics:

Research topics

Covariate Adjustment in Clinical Trials

Adjusting for baseline variables to gain efficiency when estimating marginal treatment effect

Complex Designs in Clinical Trials

Group sequential and adaptive designs

Estimands

Projects related to the ICH E9 (R1) addendum

Variable Selection

Drawing valid inference after use of data-driven variable selection procedures

Pragmatic Trials

Developing a data-informed causal expert system for personalized treatment recommendations
